Here are some photos from the “Blitz” event that took place on Saturday, December 4th at the Shibuya Production Day.

On the sidelines of the World Chess Championships taking place in the Universal Exhibition. Created by Cédric Biscay and sponsored by Garry Kasparov, the manga Blitz is being offered a wonderful place of exposition from November 29 to December 5, 2021, in the Monegasque Pavilion, with an exceptional highlight, on Saturday December 4, 2021.

To celebrate its dedicated day in the Pavilion, Shibuya Productions invites you to come, meet and compete with two leading chess champions who are doing us the honor of supporting Blitz.

Sophie Milliet, International Master, six times French Champion and recent gold medalist on the 3rd board at the last European Championships in Slovenia.

Maxime Vachier-Lagrave, International Grandmaster, European vice champion in the team event at the last European Championships in Slovenia, former number 2 in the world and currently in the top 10.

Festivities will start at 4pm in the temporary exhibition and in the private lounge of the Pavilion:

4pm: Chess initiation presented by our champions to the visitors.

7pm: Press conference to present the manga Blitz to international journalists with its creator Cédric Biscay accompanied by Sophie Milliet, who will intervene under the angle of female chess to make the parallel with Harmony the heroine of the manga.

An initiation to chess and a will be presented by our 2 champions to the international press. Finally, Sophie Milliet will face Gareth Wittstock, Princess Charlene Foundation’s General Secretary, in a game already memorable.

[MAGIC] MAGIC 2022 postponed

November 5, 2021

We are already in November and you have not heard a lot from us lately. The reason why is simple: we were waiting for the pandemic crisis evolution.

As you know, MAGIC is, above all, a lot of Japanese prestigious guests and many cosplayers coming from many countries such as South America.

Unfortunately, it is now clear that the situation in these areas does not allow us, once again, to offer you the MAGIC that you all know. Therefore, we have no choice to postpone again in order to make you live an experience up to your expectations in 2023.

See you on February 25 and 26, 2023, for hopefully, an unforgettable MAGIC.
